The Royal Norwegian Navy Fridtjof Nansen class multi mission frigates have an integrated weapon system based on the Aegis command system in service on US Navy Ticonderoga cruisers and Arleigh Burke destroyers.A total of five will enter service between 2006 and 2010. Total project cost is $3 billion. builded by Navantia of Spain,with helps from Lockheed Martin and the U.S. Navy.
main gun:Oto Melara SuperRapid 76mm naval gun has a rate of fire of 120 rounds a minute.
missile:two modules each with four launch tubes for the NSM (naval strike missile developed by Kongsberg Defence & Aerospace)long-range anti-ship missile and eight-cell mk41 vls for the evolved Sea Sparrow missile (ESSM) has the capacity for 32 missiles
4 × torpedo tubes for Sting Ray torpedoes a British acoustic homing light-weight torpedo (LWT) manufactured by BAE Systems
