The Bora-class air cushion guided missile corvette Project 1239 of the Russian Navy is one of the few types of military side-wall hovercraft built solely for marine combat purposes, rather than troop landing or transport.
It is the largest military hovercraft in the world. With the displacement of 1000 tons, the ship has a maximum speed of 100 kilometers an hour. It is armed with 8 Mosquito missiles 20 anti-aircraft missiles AK-176M automatic 76.2 mm cannon or AK-100 automatic 100 mm cannon
There are two Bora (formerly Sivuch) (615),Samum (616) currently in service, both assigned to the Russian Black Sea Fleet.
