Off Coast of Hawaii- The ABRAHAM LINCOLN Battle Group steam alongside one another on 18 June 2000 for a Battle Group Photo during RIMPAC 2000. Ships involved are USS Cheyenne (SSN-773), USS Tueson (SSN-770), USS Abraham Lincoln (CVN-72), USS Shiloh (CG-67), USS Bunker Hill (CG-52), USS Fletcher (DD-992), USS Paul Hamilton (DDG-60), USS Cromlin (FFG-37) and USS Camden (AOE-2)..




The Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Abraham Lincoln (CVN-72) and the Wasp-class Amphibious Assault ship USS Bonhomme Richard (LHD 6) lead a formation of ships and submarines from the U.S. Navy as well as the Navies of the seven other nations which participated in the 2006 Rim of the Pacific (RIMPAC) exercise





Pacific Ocean (Nov. 16, 2004) - A C-2A Greyhound assigned to the ÒProvidersÓ of Fleet Logistics Support Squadron Three Zero (VRC-30), folds its wings before being directed across the shipÕs flight deck aboard USS Abraham Lincoln (CVN 72). Lincoln and Carrier Air Wing Two (CVW-2) are currently deployed to the Western Pacific Ocean. Carrier Strike Group Nine (CSG-9) is the first to be used in the surge role in support of the Chief of Naval Operations' Fleet Response Plan (FRP).
